This award that my magazine team won back in July has just been made so much sweeter with the discovery that City University had hired former Telegraph Online Editor Richard Burton specifically to try and win that award for the website they entered.
Nearly makes up for all three Cardiff mags losing out in the PTC’s competition to this.

That’s not an anagram. It’s bastardised faux-Welsh for “Spooky”, the name of the magazine we’re producing for our practical project — all Gareth’s idea. Think of a Welsh Fortean Times. That’s it. Hauntings, UFOs, grisly crimes and whatnot. It should, in theory, be good fun to work on.
