That pearl can be found along with some other gems such as the claim that gravity can’t exist because mountains don’t have anything orbiting them, an assertion that the Earth must be flat because otherwise Australians would be upside-down, and someone who seems to have lived his whole life without ever having seen the Sun, on this collection of the web’s stupidest comments.

In Tom Clancy’s novel Rainbow Six, some environmentalists (with the emphasis very much on “mentalists”) try to wipe out half the Earth’s population for the benefit of the planet.
It’s probably only a short step to that from this.

Oh dear. As if pillocks like Loose Change director Tim Sparke weren’t bad enough, take a look at this:
