A lack of self-awareness?

This piece in today’s Observer talks about how, via web services such as MySpace and Facebook, a generation is freely giving up their privacy.
Interesting reading, and I partly agree.
But wait. The writer, Peter Bazalgette, is Chief Creative Officer of Endemol. As in Endemol, the company responsible for Big Brother, about as large a prostitution of privacy as you’re likely to see.
